Safety Excellence represents a safety culture that continuously develops and promotes safe ways of working and supports the Zero Accident vision by identifying and assessing risks. We work together with colleagues, supervisors and partners to prevent accidents and occupational illnesses, and to strengthen proactive safety measures.
For every project, we prepare a project-specific Work Environment Plan. Its purpose is to ensure a healthy and safe working environment, to support the creation of a proactive and positive safety culture, and to promote practices aligned with sustainable development. We identify risks and implement the required measures at the general level, project level and task-specific level.
Safety Week
VINCI Energies organizes a Safety Week every year, a dedicated week focusing on safety. Omexom in Finland naturally takes part in this safety week as well. The purpose of the week is to ensure that safety principles are an established and integral part of every employee’s daily actions and mindset.
Although we must focus on occupational health, safety and environmental awareness every single day of the year, Safety Week helps us reinforce this principle and highlight a new, relevant theme each year.
