    Course description

    Substation Design is an introductory course to high voltage substation design. It covers introduction to documentation and design process and basics of primary design, secondary design, auxiliary systems design and automation design.

    Course description

    Substation Protection is an introductory course to substation protection systems from HV, MV and LV levels. It covers introduction to protection functions, voltage- and current transformers, fault analysis, configuration, testing and  digital substation protection.

      • Overcurrent-, Earth fault-, differential-, distance-, busbar-, generator-,  arc protection etc.

    Course description

    Substation Automation is an introductory course to substation automation systems.
    It covers introduction to substation automation systems, automation equipment, network architecture, communication cables, IEC61850 and configuration and testing of substation automation systems.

      • RTU/GW, HMI, Ethernet switches, GPS clock
